Babb's Beach Reservations

In order to comply with COVID-19 safety precautions, the number of people entering the facility will be limited. Those that are entering Babb's Beach must adhere to all safety guidelines put forth by the CDC, State of Connecticut, and the Town of Suffield. Please email, Recreation@suffieldct.gov with any questions.

Reservation synopsis:




  • Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance, and no later than 24 hours prior. Please plan a head.


  • Reservations MUST be completed at www.suffieldrec.com. No phone reservations or in-person reservations will be made.


  • All in your party must register to have an accurate count of people for Babb's Beach.


  • Once the maximum occupancy has been reached, either via the reservation system or on a first come-first served basis, the park will be closed to other potential guests.


  • The same fee structure remains in place, FREE to Suffield residents, and $20/car (up to 6 people) for non-residents. This fee is payable to the gate attendant on site. NO EXCEPTIONS.




Babb's Beach is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. thru August 30th.
