Second-Chance Pancakes
 
Author Renata Bowers shares the story of Frieda B. and the Zillabeast, to focus on a main message of the book: Life almost always gives us a second chance to make things right. In the story, forgiveness and a second chance revolve around a stack of pancakes. Participants could make a dry mix for "Second Chance Pancakes" to take home, inviting a new "second chance" tradition into their family life. Pancakes will be made and eaten during closing discussion.
