Are you ready to have some fun, burn some calorie and put some spring back in your step?  Are you tired of trying to fit your daily workout in but have excuses of not being able to exercise because of lack of time and also not wanting to walk/jog alone? Join our group and make new walking/running/jogging friends and get in shape at the same time.  We will go over warming up, fitness walking/jogging and have a fun time getting you re-energized for the rest of the day!  The program will meet rain or shine so please bring proper gear.  Even if you can be at class for a half hour, you are encouraged to join the group.  Prizes will be awarded to the most dedicated participants.  All ages and abilities welcome.  We ask everyone to check their temperature before coming to class and if you have a temperature, over 100 please do not come to class.  Also, please do not come to class if you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.  Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement, sneakers and wear and bring a facemask, exercise mat and water bottle.  We ask everyone to check their temperature before coming to class and if you have a temperature, over 100 please do not come to class.   Please do not come to class if you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

Inclusive Programming                  These programs foster friendships, socialization, promote community involvement and independence.  This group enjoys educational presentations, fitness activities, crafting classes, games and events that are inclusive.  Many fun outings throughout the year are held.  The programs are geared for  junior high school students through adult.  Enrollment is on a first come first paid basis.  Volunteers are always welcome.  If you wish to join the group and receive notifications of upcoming events, you must pre-register. Currently, there is a Zoom program running each week with games, trivia and bingo nights for the group during the COVID-19 pandemic. 3:30 PM - 4:15 PM    Holiday Themed Outdoor Exercise and Walk Event - FREE (Bowling Buddies Group and Friends) - Holiday Themed Outdoor Exercise and Walk Event
Have a fun time with your friends getting ready for the holidays while and getting some great exercise.  All abilities welcome.  We will be practicing physical/social distancing and everyone must wear a mask. All participants must pre-register.  Limited enrollment. Real fun at a real value!Get your friends together for some great times this Fall. This is a program is for everyone and each Thursday night,  participants will bowl three games. Program offers a terrific way to get some exercise and make new friends.Participants must wear masks during the program when social distancing is not feasible.   We ask everyone to check their temperature before coming to class and if you have a temperature, over 100 please do not come to class.  Also, please do not come to class if you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.   Please bring hand sanitizer to the program.      You must pre-register and pre-pay before the deadline.  Please register on time as teams must be formed and submitted to the bowling alley the week before the program.NOTE: All children 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.

During this interactive zoom program, you can learn and ask questions to create a unique, quality custom wreath with technique tricks from Julie. The base, wire, greens, ribbon and optional picks will be supplied. Please pick up the day before the class at Julie Harrison’s Farm. Location and details will be included in an email after you register.  This new program will be lots of fun and you will end the night with a beautiful wreath for your home or as a perfect handmade present for a loved one.

Children will have a fun and festive time while making a variety of handmade cards and presents for winter and the holidays.  What is better than quality, thoughtful handmade gifts?  To put everyone in the holiday spirit we also sip on hot chocolate and listen to holiday songs while having a blast.  Please have your child bring or wear an old T-shirt/clothes to class.  Children will be required to wear face masks during the program when social distancing is not feasible.A small individualized snack will be provided.  Please indicate if your child has any food allergies.

Suffield Parks & Recreation and Suffield Youth Services Present an important program for kids and families.Home Alone Safety for Kids is a unique class for kids ages 8 to 13 years old who are left home alone. This interactive course will cover safety concerns parents have when their children are by themselves.

If you can make a line, a dot and curve, you can create Zentangle Art!  Zentangle drawing is an easy to learn and relaxing method of creating beautiful images from structured patterns.  It is a combination of drawing and meditation, a blend of art and spirit.  De-stress in a gentle classroom environment and feel the satisfaction of creating art.  No artistic experience required. Participants just need a pencil, a pen and a piece of paper about 3.5 inches square. Are you ready to have some fun, burn some calorie and put some spring back in your step?  Are you tired of trying to fit your daily workout in but have excuses of not being able to exercise because of lack of time and also not wanting to walk/jog alone? Let’s get into the holiday spirit by making fun and creative cards and presents on Zoom together! We will listen to some festive holiday music as we make some handmade holiday decorations and presents.  Participants that attend the Holiday Themed Outdoor Exercise and Walk event on Wednesday, December 2 will receive holiday craft bags with the contents for the event.  If you are unable to attend the walk event, you can schedule a time to pick up your craft bag before this event.  Everyone must pre-register and will be sent a link for the zoom event once you register.  NOTE: Supplies needed to participate- glue, tape, scissors and a smile.

Inclusive Programming                  These programs foster friendships, socialization, promote community involvement and independence.  This group enjoys educational presentations, fitness activities, crafting classes, games and events that are inclusive.  Many fun outings throughout the year are held.  The programs are geared for  junior high school students through adult.  Enrollment is on a first come first paid basis.  Volunteers are always welcome.  If you wish to join the group and receive notifications of upcoming events, you must pre-register. Currently, there is a Zoom program running each week with games, trivia and bingo nights for the group during the COVID-19 pandemic. Let’s get right into the Holiday spirit by getting out your favorite ugly Christmas sweater or decorative holiday mask and go bowling with friends and family!  Participants will bowl for two hours, while we celebrate the holidays while social/physical distancing and getting some exercise while having a blast.  Bowling shoes, pizza and soda is included in the price. This special night is for the whole family and will be lots of fun!  We will even have some prizes for the ugliest holiday sweater and ugliest holiday mask.  We have the Elite Suite reserved at Spare Time for our group for this holiday event.  This is the VIP and private party section of the Bowling Alley.You must pre-register and pre-pay before the deadline.  We will be creating teams of four and sending these teams to Spare time on December 10th.  Please list requests for team members that you would like to be paired with if you would like to be on a specific team when registering. Participants must wear masks during the program at all times except when they are eating.  We ask everyone to check their temperature before coming to the event and if you have a temperature, over 100 please do not attend.  Also, please do not attend the event if you are feeling ill or if you or any of your family members or close contacts are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.   Please bring hand sanitizer to the program.

Get in shape this winter and keep your Fitness Resolutions in 2021!    Let’s enjoy the winter weather, get motivated and go on a lunchtime walk/jog or snowshoe session depending on the weather.  All levels and abilities welcome.  We will go over warming up, fitness walking/snowshoeing and have a fun time getting you re-energized for the rest of the day.  The program will run in all weather conditions so please bring proper winter gear.  Even if you can only join the program for a half hour, you are encouraged to join the group.  Prizes will be awarded to the most dedicated walkers.  NOTE: No program on January 19.

Inclusive Programming                  These programs foster friendships, socialization, promote community involvement and independence.  This group enjoys educational presentations, fitness activities, crafting classes, games and events that are inclusive.  Many fun outings throughout the year are held.  The programs are geared for  junior high school students through adult.  Enrollment is on a first come first paid basis.  Volunteers are always welcome.  If you wish to join the group and receive notifications of upcoming events, you must pre-register. Currently, there is a Zoom program running each week with games, trivia and bingo nights for the group during the COVID-19 pandemic.
